Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs made a working visit to Armenia

While in Yerevan, Minister Kulhánek held a tete-a-tete meeting with his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ararat Mirzoyan. The meeting was followed by substantive talks and a joint statement of the ministers for the press.

Minister Kulhánek was also accompanied by a business delegation consisting of 16 representatives of Czech companies. Both foreign ministers jointly inaugurated the Czech-Armenian business forum, which was held on October 1 at the Armenia Marriott Hotel premises. The ministers stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere and suggested to use this opportunity to boost bilateral trade. In the B2B part, Armenian entrepreneurs had the opportunity to find new contacts and meet their Czech counterparts directly.

In the framework of the visit, the Czech delegation, headed by Minister Kulhánek, met with the Prime Minister Mr. Nikol Pashinyan and the Vice Prime Minister Mr. Mher Grigoryan. The President of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Armen Sarkissian, also received the Czech delegation.
