Did you know that in 2024, the EU employment rate was 75.8%, while unemployment stood at 5.9%, the lowest since 2015? Or that the average employment rate for recent graduates aged 20-34 in the same year was 82.3%? Or even that in 2024, the average expected working life in the EU was 37.2 years, with an average working week of 36 hours?

All of this information is part of our online publication dedicated to the EU labour force survey (EU-LFS) statistics. This publication provides an overview of key data from the EU labour force survey, covering 6 main areas: labour market, employment, unemployment, education, the household dimension and youth.
