The training programme aims to enable participants to become more effective in various
EU-focused negotiation settings within a highly interactive learning environment. Participants will
reflect on their strengths and weaknesses in negotiation techniques and personal preferences in
negotiation styles, particularly in bilateral and multilateral negotiations. They will also gain insights
into strategic concepts used in EU negotiations to better manage complex negotiation situations. The
training includes a self-assessment exercise on handling different negotiation styles and strategies
relevant to international and EU-specific settings.
