Labour market flows in Q3 2024 in the EU

Between the second and the third quarter of 2024, 3.1 million unemployed people aged 15-74 in the EU (23.4% of all unemployed in the second quarter of 2024) found a job. During this period, 6.7 million (50.6%) remained unemployed and 3.4 million unemployed people (26.0%) transitioned out of the labour force.

The information comes from recently published data on labour market flows in the third quarter of 2024. This article presents a handful of findings from the more detailed Statistics Explained article.
