Covid-19: Current information on the entry from Bahrain to the Czech Republic

As of 18th October 2021 the Kingdom of Bahrain was included by the Czech Republic in the list of countries with a low risk of Covid-19 (so-called green countries). Starting February 15th, 2022, in accordance with the current protective measure issued by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic the following applies:

Before entering the Czech Republic from the Kingdom of Bahrain, all travellers must:

- submit a filled arrival form (all travellers)

The obligation to submit a PCR test does not apply to:

- vaccinated persons*

- children up to the age of 12

- holders of a certificate confirming that the holder suffered from COVID-19

- children from 12 years of age to the age of 18 who are vaccinated persons*

The obligation to submit a PCR test not older than 72 hours applies to:

- unvaccinated persons (with no vaccination certificate)

- persons vaccinated with a vaccine not recognized in the Czech Republic (Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V)

The above mentioned persons must also conduct a PCR test between the 5th and 7th day of stay in the Czech Republic.

The Bahraini vaccination certificate is recognized in the Czech Republic only with the vaccines of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/Oxford and Covishield.

The vaccination certificate has:

- validity of 270 days after the second dose (or first dose in case of one-dose scheme vaccination)

- unlimited validity for persons between age of 12 and 18

- unlimited validity after a booster shot

It is strongly recommended to check the travel conditions with the respective airlines as they may differ from the conditions of entry to the Czech Republic.

*Vaccinated person is a holder of a national certificate of the Czech Republic/EU on completed vaccination (at least 14 days have elapsed since the application of the last dose
