New Travel Rules Between Israel and the Czech Republic (valid from October 27,2021)

The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic listed the State of Israel among dark red countries - "with a very high risk" of infection of Covid-19.

NEW: Persons who are fully vaccinated with one of the EU approved vaccines in one of the countries given below can arrive with no additional requirements for any purpose, including their non-vaccinated children (0 - 12)

1. Fully vaccinated persons

at least 14 days after administration of a second dose, in case of a two-phased vaccine, with one of the following vaccines

? AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)

? Moderna (Spikevax)

? Pfizer BioNTech (Comirnaty)

? Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)

? Covishield

in one of the countries whose vaccination certificate CZE recognizes:

? EU Member States

? Armenia, Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican

can arrive to the CZE (or apply for any visa - see article on visa services) for any purpose without needing to observe any additional quarantine measures (i.e. no need to get tested or to self-isolate). You will only be required to fill out a Czech arrival Entry Form before arriving (not necessary for children under the age of 12 years of age).

In order to be allowed entry as a fully vaccinated person, you will be required to present your VACCINATION CERTIFICATE.

2. Non-vaccinated children of fully vaccinated persons (as stated in point 1) can travel with their parents for any purpose. See quarantine measures for non-vaccinated children below:

a) Children under the age of 12 - no quarantine measures (i.e. no need to get tested or to self-isolate)

b) children between the age of 12 to 18 – PCR test not older than 72 hours before departure, another PCR test not before 5th day after arrival to the Czech Republic and until receiving a negative result duty to wear an FFP2 or N95 mask while moving in the public places/transport.

3. Recovered persons can enter the territory of the Czech Republic with a digital Covid-19 Recovery Certificate issued at least 11 days before arrival. A recovered person must leave the territory of the Czech Republic at the latest on the 180th day of validity of its Recovery Certificate. Recovered persons will be required to fill out a Czech arrival Entry Form before arriving (not necessary for children under the age of 12 years of age).
