The Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Kingdom of Cambodia prepared an exposition of study opportunities for Cambodian students in Czechia. The Czech booth was one of the most visited stands among the 50 exhibitors, as it offered activities for the visitors and two Cambodian alumni of Czech universities were present at the booth, sharing the experience of studies in Czechia through the perspective of a Cambodian. During the opening ceremony, the Czech booth was visited by H.E. Dr. Hangchuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
The booth was visited by more than 400 young people interested in studying in Czechia who inquired about Czech Government Scholarship and self-financing path as well. The booth provided information materials about Czech universities as well as a quiz with interesting awards, which made the booth more attractive for the visitors.
The Study in Europe Fair is organized by The Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Cambodia every year in autumn and is open to exhibitors from among EU Member States‘ embassies, and educational institutions. This year, the fair was held in the Factory Phnom Penh.
