1:00pm ET - It's been a busy 12 hours across the forecast area with rounds of storms, some of them severe with large hail and a few with damaging wind gusts. Looking at the current radar imagery, showers and storms are redeveloping along a stalled frontal boundary stretching from Apalachicola to Tifton. Expect gradual development of scattered/widespread showers and storms through the afternoon as this boundary begins to move east through the afternoon and evening. A severe threat could develop as these storms move east this afternoon and coverage increases. Main concerns will be the potential for hail and localized damaging wind gusts.
