Minister Lipavský Will Visit India, Australia and Japan

Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský will travel to India, Australia and Japan on 22 February for a working visit. The trip will last until 3 March. One of the main topics of the meetings in all countries will be security. The Minister will be accompanied by a business delegation led by the Confederation of Industry and Transport.
In India, Minister Lipavský will attend the Raisina Dialogue conference, where he will, among other things, speak on a panel on de-risking, protection and diversification of supply chains. He will also meet with Indian Foreign Minister KŘESTNÍ JMÉNO Jaishankar. From New Delhi, the delegation will travel to Canberra on Saturday 24 February, where the Minister will hold talks with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong. In the country, where Czechia recently sent a cyber diplomacy attaché, Jan Lipavský will also hold talks with Home Affairs Minister Claire O'Neill and other politicians. In Canberra and then in Sydney, Minister Lipavský will meet with his compatriots, of whom there are approximately 30,000 living in Australia. One of the topics of the meetings with the compatriots will be the postal vote.
The next stop on Minister Lipavsky's trip will be Tokyo on 29 February, where he will meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa and other Japanese government officials. Ministers will sign an agreement that will create conditions for the introduction of direct air links between Czechia and Japan. On the last day of the trip, Minister Lipavský will visit Osaka and his programme will focus on supporting the Czech participation in the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition.
