January 9 145pm ET - The severe threat is just about over for the area as the only remaining severe storms in our region are across the southeast Big Bend in Dixie county. In areas clear of severe weather, please remember that there are still many downed trees and powerlines in places. Additionally, please give room for first responders working hard to help people get through the aftermath of this event.

It's been a rough 24 hours for many across the region. Our thoughts are with y'all. Over the next few days we'll be collecting information and performing damage surveys of the areas affected by tornadoes. More information to come.
