Launching of Two Books on Czech – Albanian Relations on the occasion of 100th Years Anniversary of Czech - Albanian Diplomatic Relations

In 2022, we are celebrating 100th years anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic (that time Czechoslovakia) and Albania. On this anniversary, two books on the topic of Czech-Albanian relations were launched.

The first one “Albanian and Czech Lands”, mapping mutual relationship since Middle Ages, by Dr. Dorian Koçi was published under the auspices of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana. The other one „100 years of Albanian – Czecho-Slovak relations” by Dr. Adrian Brisku (ed.) was published by the Charles University in Prague.

Official launch of both books took place in Tirana in the premises of the Academy of Sciences on 24^th June, 2022. Many Albanian outstanding personalities, academics, professors, politicians and media were present. In his addressing, Ambassador Urban emphasized excellent Czech-Albanian relations that have long history and cover many areas of cooperation.
