Given that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered a country with a low risk of Covid-19 pandemic, starting August 2, 2021 the visa agenda at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh was fully renewed. This means that applications of all kinds of visa and stay can be accepted, regardless their purpose.

Before entering the territory of the Czech Republic from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the traveller must:

  • submit the filled arrival form
  • before entering or no later than 5 days after entering the Czech Republic present a negative result Covid-19 PCR test.

The exemption of presenting a negative result Covid-19 PCR test applies for the travellers who are holders of a national certificate on completed vaccination, which is accepted by the Czech Republic authorities and listed on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. This means that only certificates of vaccination with Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca/Oxford are recognized. The last dose is required to have been received not less than 14 days ahead of estimated arrival time but not longer than 9 months.

The obligation to fill in the arrival form also applies to fully vaccinated travellers, too.

A list of accredited laboratories in Saudi Arabia can be found on the website of the Saudi Center for Disease Control and Prevention https://covid19.cdc.gov.sa/ar/approved-covid-19-laboratories-ar/private-laboratories-ar/
